This Saturday I held a shoot to showcase some of the styles on my site, www.saltyone.shop The shoot is to show off some of the styles I’ve already had in store for a while. As summer inventory starts to sell out I am making room to the shift to fully sustainable swimwear. We had a lot of fun on set this weekend! Our set was actually my own dads house in Town N’ Country right outside Downtown Tampa. The house is SOOO beautiful and we always see such beautiful sunsets there, so I figured it would be an awesome spot for a “Golden Hour” Photoshoot.
Of course I was running late per usual. Stuffing everything into my car bikinis, lights, baby oil, everything necessary. I was speeding down the highway as I get a text from two of the models saying they were already there. Knowing I had a ways to go I prayed we would hit all the lights. Finally we get there and are setting up we get a ton of great pool shots before the light started to go. We were starting to panic because we were losing light a lot quicker than we thought we would. The mangroves came up much higher so we had to cut the shoot in the pool down and move upstairs. In the end it worked out to some beautiful shots, but we were definitely disappointed that we lost the light.
I brought three models in as who are beautiful women who reached out to me through social media! (From left Cassidy @ca_hamm, Whitney @whit_symone and Khayla @khayla) ! They were so amazing to work with and I loved getting shots of them in the water playing around on the Flamingo and Champagne floats! I met a photographer a few weeks ago named Zero and he has such a great attitude and mindset so I knew I had to set up a shoot with him. He has a photography brand called YoungDreamerz you can check them out on Instagram @youngdreamerz and you can find Zero @narenzokershaw. He had his videographer Alex there getting all the BTS shots so those will be really cool. He was able to capture a lot of the fun that happens behind the scenes with the models and silly things that happen.
